A Return to Self

A 12-Week Inner Leadership Intensive

For the ambitious, purpose-driven, heart-centered human who wants to feel as calm, clear, & confident on the inside as you appear on the outside — so you can live in deeper alignment with exactly who you are.

The best investment you will ever make — for you and those you love the most — is in yourself.

01 — Why you're here
Illustration of a winding path through a calm, sunlit forest — forward motion and grounding.

You are someone who always finds a way forward.

You want to feel calm and present when you need it most — less prone to distractions, & deeply grounded no matter what's going on around you. You're ready to feel as happy, peaceful, and free on the inside as your feed can look on the outside.

You're ready to overcome the doubt or hesitation that shows up right when it matters most — and to fully trust your voice, your path, and your decisions because they're aligned with who you are at your core.

You want to feel like the person you are on the inside is aligned with the person showing up on the outside — so no matter what life brings, you know deep down, “I've got this.”

And you already know, somewhere beneath the noise: the next level is an inside job.

02 — What you're after

Five shifts · sustained change

You make a decision — and trust yourself on the other side of it.

You have the hard conversation and walk away without replaying it for three days. You set the boundary and feel settled, not guilty. You replace rumination and second-guessing with a presence and calm you've always been capable of — and you sustain it. You think, say, and act in alignment with who you really are.

1 Fuller presence & inner peace

You feel calmer, more grounded, less reactive. The low hum of anxiety underneath everything is quieter.

2 Unbreakable trust in yourself

A deep, steady knowing that you are enough — that whatever comes your way, you've got it.

3 True balance

Mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually — not something you schedule around everything else, but how you live and operate day to day.

4 Deeper alignment

With who you actually are, not just what you do or have achieved. You feel at home in yourself.

5 Inner clarity & forward direction

You know what matters, what's next, and you trust your ability to go after it.

This program doesn't chase breakthroughs. We train reps: focus reps, self-talk reps, decision reps, emotional regulation reps, hard conversation reps. This work is the difference between a momentary breakthrough and a sustainable change in how you make and trust your decisions — so your life can't help but align with your most authentic self.

“I'm living life to the fullest, with purpose, direction, goals, dreams, & a path to making it all real. I'm living according to my values, and in alignment with what my higher self has always wanted.”

My proprietary framework
for lasting transformation

The 4R Method

Insight + Action = Transformation

A clinically sequenced path from pattern recognition to embodied, lasting change — applied across every coaching container I hold, group and private. In A Return to Self, this sequence paces what you'll experience week by week.

Reveal · Weeks 1–3

See the pattern clearly.

The first step to sustainable change is awareness — you cannot change what you're not aware of. Trace the stories that have been running the show back to their roots. With self-study (svadhyaya) as the foundation, we meet what we find with compassion, understanding, and maybe some forgiveness — not more judgment.

Core outcome: You study your inner obstacles with curiosity. You start to separate and discern conditioned beliefs from what you know to be true.

Regulate · Weeks 4–6

The only way out is through.

When the nervous system is in threat response, the part of the brain responsible for belief-level change goes offline — which is why insight alone doesn't produce lasting behavioral change. We dance with discomfort, act without certainty, and understand what's within — and what's outside of — your control.

Core outcome: You learn new tools for emotional regulation and release — and reprogram patterns that historically held you back.

Rewire · Weeks 7–9

3 Laws of Neuroplasticity

Time. Focus. Repetition. And the truth is, you've spent a lot of time — decades most likely — focusing on and repeating old doubts, judgments, and fears. It's no wonder they feel like truth.

So we spend time focusing on new reps: Mindfulness reps. Regulation reps. Hard decision reps. Hard conversation reps. Doing something different — not just in theory, but in practice — is what actually rewires the pattern.

Core outcome: You build unbreakable trust in yourself by acting from faith instead of fear.

Return · Weeks 10–12

Come home to yourself.

We don't chase breakthroughs — though those are amazing and absolutely happen — we set new baselines.

Calm, clear, and confident. Living into your values rather than fear. Returning, full of trust, to the person you are at the center of your being.

Core outcome: You're on your path — acting in alignment with your most authentic self. “No matter what life throws my way, I know I'll be OK.”

05 — Boundaries

Scope · clarity

What this is — and isn't.

Clear scope keeps the container grounded: what we do together, what we don't, and why that matters for your autonomy and safety.

What this is NOT
1 Telling you what to do:

Coaching is not about anyone telling, demanding, directing, or advising you on what to do. Autonomy is our #1, most fundamental psychological need. You're in the driver seat, and we only focus on the things you're ready to change.

2 Therapy or Counseling:

Thank goodness we have wonderful professionals for that. I do believe in exploring the full range of human emotions, which may require us to revisit the past with compassion, understanding, & maybe a little forgiveness — not more judgment.

3 Mindset coaching, toxic positivity, or 'positive affirmations':

There are no quick fixes or cure-all hacks. If that's what you're after, this is not the container for you.

4 Forcing courage before capacity

Emotional and psychological safety underlie everything we do. You will never experience an ounce of judgment. And everything we share & discuss is held with confidentiality.

What this is:
1 A safe, steady, non-judgmental container to build self-confidence, self-trust, & a powerful like-minded community:

A space for you to develop the one thing that underlies everything else: the ability to trust yourself, lead yourself, and stay in relationship with yourself no matter what's happening around you.

“Kyle helps you be really honest and really brave, almost uncomfortably so. He holds you with zero judgment and infinite, unconditional love.”

Kyle Descher

Kyle Descher — leadership and transformational coach

Kyle spent nearly thirty years following the traditional path before answering a calling he could no longer ignore.

His journey to this work wasn't purely academic. It was lived. A violent attack that left his jaw shattered. A decade of PTSD carried alone. Finding first yoga, then EMDR, plant medicine, and hiring his first coach — each one a turning point.

After leaving Google in 2021, he earned his Master's degree in Integrative Wellness, diving deep into the science of human behavior, motivation, and the key mechanisms of sustainable change. He's built a practice that has now transformed the lives of 100+ clients across five continents and counting.

He's not just teaching from a textbook. He's rebuilt his life more than once. He knows what it costs to carry it alone — & what becomes possible when you no longer have to.

“No words (or review) can ever express how transformative our work together was for my life… I would work with you until the end of time.”

09 — FAQ

Quick answers

Is this therapy or clinical treatment?

No. A Return to Self is a coaching and education container focused on awareness, behavior change, and integration. It does not replace therapy, psychiatry, or medical care. If you're working with a clinician, we can complement that work — not replace it.

How is group different from 1:1 coaching?

In 1:1, the lens stays on your world every session. In the group, you benefit from shared themes, witness, and reflection from others — which often accelerates pattern-spotting and compassion. Many clients choose one or the other; some layer both.

What if I miss calls or travel for work?

Life doesn't pause for twelve weeks. You'll have replays and clear ways to plug back in. Part of the work is staying connected to yourself when the schedule wobbles — with support when you return.

Will you tell me what to do?

No. Research shows that telling or directing doesn't produce lasting change. Your autonomy is preserved; you only change what you want to change.

not sure yet. no problem.

Take the Root to Rise quiz to surface the patterns shaping your decisions and the values that can start to shift them — or book a call and we'll see if this container is the right fit.
